Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

At some time on Saturday 31 January in Brierly Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a male neighbour, accompanied by a female, came to the door asking to use a phone. The occupant went to lock his dog away, and while doing this, the female entered the property and stole a cordless vacuum cleaner and a Canada Goose tracksuit top.

Between 10.00pm on Saturday 31 January and 7.30am on Sunday 1 February in Willow Crescent, Sutton in Ashfield, a flat was entered through a door, which may not have been locked, and every room in the flat had been searched.

At some time before 1.17pm on Tuesday 3 February in Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a window was smashed with a metal pole and the property was entered. An untidy search had been made and there was evidence that someone had slept in the property.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 10.00am on Friday 30 and 8.00am on Saturday 31 January in Mason Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a blue Volvo C30 was stolen. Due to a fault with the lock it had been left open.. 

Theft from motor vehicle

Between 11.00pm on Wednesday 28 and 00.00am on Thursday 29 January in Sherwood Road, Sutton in Ashfield, money was stolen from the glove box of a black Suzuki Swift which may have been left unlocked.

Theft

At 7.30pm on Thursday 29 January in Lammas Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a black Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC SLX 750 E-bike was stolen from outside the Scout Hut in the Lammas compound. 

Criminal Damage

Between 2.00am and 4.00am on Sunday 1 February in Byron Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, three males rode past a grey Audi A3 S-line car three or four times ‘keying’ the vehicle as they passed.

ASB

At 1.03am on Saturday 31 January in Roosevelt Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a white male, long curly scruffy hair, wearing a baseball cap, riding up and down the road on a mountain bike shouting and screaming waking everyone up.

At 7.28pm on Saturday 31 January in Brierly Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of two males and a female drinking beer on the stairwell in a block of flats. They had forced their way into the communal area.
